Barn Conversion, Cutnall Green, Worcestershire

The existing steel framed dutch barn was roofed with Euroclad Vieo standing seam Tata Colourcoat steel panels, fixed to a curved insulated plywood deck. The panels were rolled and curved on site before being lifted by crane onto the roof and then being laid and hand seamed into position.

The roof was finished with Powder coated aluminium curved verge flashings to both ends.

The lower steel framed roofs were clad with Euroclad Vieo Edge standing seam interlocking panels in Tata Colourcoat steel, fully supported on an insulated plywood deck. Colourcoat steel flashings were used for all of the details.

The Old Rectory, Shelsley, Worcestershire

Swiftclad installed Euroclad VieoZinc standing seam roof cladding onto the new link building and extension to the existing Rectory House.

Site welded preformed rooflight soakers were installed to the rooflights.

New Offices and Workshop Building, Mercedes, Worcester

Kingspan KS1000RW composite panels were installed to the roof and walls of the new steel framed workshop building.

A bespoke fabricated cranked panel with the same cladding profile was installed to the eaves of the building to hide the membrane lined steel gutters.

Powder coated aluminium flashings were fitted to the corners and verges.

Costa, Reading Gate

Swiftclad installed a Sika Trocal single ply roof membrane finish and gutters to this new development. This was laid on steel decking sheets, with tapered insulation onto the steel frame structure.

Powder coated aluminium cappings and flashings were installed to create the curved fascia and roof parapets.

Kingspan KS1000MR insulated panels were installed vertically to the wall cladding.

Costa Drive Thru, White City, Trafford

SwiftClad installed Kingspan KS1000RW composite panels and a membrane lined gutter to the steel framed roof.

Kingspan KS1000MR composite panels were fixed to the wall elevations, and site painted to the Costa colours.

A Sika Trocal membrane was installed to the flat roof areas over the canopies with powder coated aluminium cappings and rainwater pipes and hoppers.

Skoda Showroom, Worcester

SwiftClad installed Kingspan composite roof and wall cladding to the new showroom, along with membrane lined steel gutters and powder coated aluminium cappings and flashings.

A Protan single ply roof membrane was laid on insulation and steel decking to the flat roof extension and internal parapet walls.

The existing workshop building was over clad with single skin trapezoidal metal cladding to the roof and walls and with cappings and flashings to match.

New House, Eardisley, Herefordshire

SwiftClad installed a standing seam metal roof on a plywood decking to this new dwelling. Metal Solutions fabricated and supplied the roof sheets and flashings in Greencoat PLX BT Pro organically coated steel.

New Co-op mixed use development, Erdington, Birmingham

SwiftClad installed a Sika Trocal single ply roof membrane on insulation to the apartment block pitched roof with curved powder coated aluminium bullnose flashings, soffits and rainwater pipes.

A new sinusoidal shaped roof was laid over the food store, incorporating an Ash & Lacy standing seam aluminium roof sheet, laid on bars and brackets, insulation onto steel decking sheets.

Eurobond composite wall cladding panels and flashings were installed to the store walls, fixed to the steel frame, with powder coated aluminium column casings and drip cills.

Retail development, Malvern

SwiftClad installed a Kingspan KS1000 Topdek composite roof with a Sika Trocal membrane lining to the new retail units, with insulated and membrane lined parapets and coated steel parapet cappings.

Kingspan KS1000MR composite cladding panels including curved panels were installed to the steel framed walls.

A Kingspan Benchmark system was installed to one elevation with a Shackerley Group Ceramic granite façade tile finish.

Redevelopment of the Co-op Department Store, Coventry

The existing asphalt lined flat roof and roof balconies were refurbished with a tapered insulation scheme adhered to the asphalt deck, and Protan single ply EXA roof membrane with a fleece backing adhered to the insulation with associated upstands and details to the same specification.

Powder coated aluminium cappings were installed to the existing parapet walls.

ZM Silesia zinc standing seam vertical cladding was installed to the upper floor walls onto a timber sub base, along with window and door detailing.

The adjacent listed office building was refurbished with a new Protan single ply membrane laid over the existing felt flat roofs, and the existing parapet gutters relined.

Next Retail Unit, Stafford

SwiftClad installed Kingspan KS1000RW composite roof panels to the new steel framed roof. These had to be installed underneath the overhead high voltage power cables and alongside an electrified main route rail line with all the associated safety measures agreed and in place.

Kingspan KS1000MR composite cladding was installed along with coated metal flashings and cappings to the wall elevations.

Bereavement Centre, Mary Ann Evans Hospice, Nuneaton

SwiftClad designed and installed a Sika Trocal single ply membrane roofing system to the flat roofs for the new Mary Ann Evans Bereavement Centre.

We installed an Ash and Lacy Ashwall SFS framework system to the complete building façade, which was then cladded with Cement Particle boarding and Kingspan’s K15 Kooltherm rainscreen insulation.

The final façade treatment was to install Western Red Cedar 5X blue label untreated shingles to the walls and to the pitched roof.

House by the Water, Shiplake, Henley on Thames

SwiftClad installed a Protan single ply roof membrane finish to a concave timber panelled roof construction on a newly constructed house alongside the river Thames.

Integral Protan metal gutters were constructed within the building fabric to avoid external gutters.

Tiles International supplied Creaton Tonality Classic terracotta tiles, manufactured in Germany, and these were installed on supporting bracket rails to the external façade as a Rainscreen system. Careful detailing ensured that the tiles were levelled around the buiding absorbing any tolerance issues with the framework.

Engineering Building, Leek College

SwiftClad designed and installed a Rigidal Ziplok aluminium standing seam roof with a zinc finish, fixed on corogrid carriers and brackets with mineral fibre insulation, all to the new timber panelled Engineering Building for Leek College.

Powder coated aluminium cappings were installed to all of the parapets.

A Western Red Cedar rainscreen panel was installed to the front elevation.

Retail Units, Malvern Retail Park, Worcestershire

SwiftClad designed and installed Kingspan KS1000 Topdek composite roof panels with Trocal single ply membrane finish to the new single storey retail unit development.

Kingspan’s KS600 Optimo composite smooth faced wall panels were installed to the walls along with powder coated aluminium parapet cappings and soffit cladding.

Early Years Centre, Checketts Lane, Worcester

SwiftClad designed and installed a prefabricated curved steel roof truss system over the existing flat roof of the children’s nursery.

We then installed Rigidal Ziplok precurved stucco finished aluminium standing seam roof panels onto the roof trusses to create a striking new barrel vaulted roof.

Powder coated aluminium fascias, gutters and soffits were installed to complete the design.

New House, McIntyre Road, Worcester

The Client designed and constructed a new highly insulated timber frame and panelled house. SwiftClad were requested to design, develop and install Cor-ten 1.5mm steel wall and roof panels as a rainscreen system onto this structure.

SwiftClad designed and detailed all of the panels individually which were then manufactured at our local fabricators.

The Cor-ten roof panels were installed on a metal carrier system which was fixed via non penetrative seam clips to a metal standing seam roof laid on top of the timber frame roof panels, thus ensuring a watertight surface below the rainscreen.

The wall panels were fixed to a carrier system mounted on the timber frame, with Kingspan K15 Kooltherm rainscreen insulation fixed between the carriers.

A Protan single ply roof membrane was installed onto the new flat roofs.

New Classroom, Bilston C of E Primary School, Wolverhampton

SwiftClad designed and installed  Kingspan KS1000 Topdek composite roof panels with Trocal single ply membrane finish to the new single storey classroom extension along with Precoated metal parapet cappings.
